We have been fighting a head lice problem with our granddaughters for 5 months using every over the counter product and home remedy we could find. Obviously the little critters have become immune to the over the counter products. And we just could not continue using the pesticides any longer. We were really at our WITS END when we found Licenex.
You can feel a big difference after the first shampoo. But you need to use it at every shampoo for 2-3 weeks to really win the battle. Just be sure to use a good conditioner after each shampooing.
This product REALLY WORKS!!!
We have been using it for 10 days now. I plan on using it for at least one more week to be completely sure. Now that we found something that works and is safe to use, smells good and makes your head feel good afterwards; I want to make sure the problem is taken care of completely.
I am ordering another 3 bottles today. We are using it for the whole family as a precaution to prevent reinfestation. I opened our last bottle this morning. Two bottles treated 5 of us for one week (about 20 shampooings). So we are averaging 10 treatments per bottle. |

This product really does NOT work. I used it consistently everyday for three weeks, leaving it in for 30 minutes WITH a shower cap on to be sure.
Still to no avail. It does not kill the lice let alone the eggs.
It may have worked in the lab, killing one or two lice. That does not mean it will translate to the real world.

This product used to be very effective. Then they changed the formulation sometime around April 2010. That was the beginning of the end for it's usefulness. For those of us who used it before the reformulation took place we notice it doesn't lather as well leaving hair much less manageable and the pleasant peppermint scent has been eliminated. Altogether a serious loss for the fight against lice.
Shame for what once was a wonder product now all one wonders is why they changed it?!
